Overview
We live in a country that claims to be based on science, goodwill, and policies intended to help people. But in reality, these things are often heavily influenced and manipulated by industry, particularly Big Food, Big Pharma, and Big Ag, which have corrupted many institutions, politicians, professional associations, and research entities. And it has, unfortunately, led to mass confusion and illness in the public.
Today on The Doctor’s Farmacy, I’m excited to talk to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., candidate for President in 2024, and my longtime friend about the chronic disease epidemic and his vision for how we can change our food system, economy, environment, and public health outcomes. Never before has there been this level of division, polarization, and hatred from one American to another. At the root of this division is censorship, lack of free speech and independent media/journalism, and cancel culture.
Bobby and I talk about the current division in America and how he imagines healing it and bringing people back together. Bobby has been widely portrayed as an anti-vaxxer in mainstream media. He addresses this during our conversation, and explains that he is not anti-vaccine, rather he is for safe vaccines and robust science, and for regulatory agencies that are free from conflicts of interest and financial entanglements with the pharmaceutical industry.
We also talk about the concept of corporate capture, which is where a government agency or regulatory body that is supposed to act in the public interest is heavily influenced or controlled by the very industries or businesses it is meant to regulate. Bobby and I talk about how he would address these issues as President, especially when it comes to Big Pharma, Big Food, and Big Ag. President John F. Kennedy famously said, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” He challenged every American to contribute in some way to the public good.
Bobby and I talk about what we can do as individuals for our country, right now, that will make the most impact. Bobby urges Americans to take responsibility for our own health. He talks about how, as President, he will make health and wellness a priority for all Americans, and he also shares his personal diet and exercise routine and how he stays so healthy at the age of 69.
I’m not endorsing any particular candidate for President, but I do encourage you to take a deep look at Bobby’s campaign, as it uncovers the root of our division in America, and brings to light issues that we are not hearing anywhere else. I hope you’ll tune in.
