Why do I need supplements?
The human body is an extraordinarily complex system where countless chemical reactions occuring every single day to maintain health and vibrancy. Each reaction requires a catalyst (an enzyme), and each catalyst has a “helper” or cofactor (coenzyme). Vitamins and minerals are those helpers. Without optimal levels your biochemistry doesn’t run well (and in some cases, at all). In order to convert the calories you consume through food into useful energy (among other functions) in your cells, you need vitamins and minerals. This is why they are called “essential vitamins and minerals”.
Why did you start The DrHyman.com® Store?
The unregulated supplement and vitamin market poses significant challenges and risks to consumers. Without stringent oversight, many products are not subject to rigorous testing for safety, efficacy, or purity. This lack of regulation allows manufacturers to make unfounded health claims, potentially misleading consumers about the benefits of their products. Additionally, the absence of quality control can result in supplements that contain harmful contaminants, incorrect dosages, or even completely different ingredients than those listed on the label. These issues not only undermine consumer trust but can also pose serious health risks. Consequently, the need for transparency, reliable information, and quality assurance in the supplement industry is more crucial than ever to protect and inform consumers.

How do I know if the products I purchase work for me?
We recommend that you track your body and symptom changes over time once you have started any new supplement. Some supplements may take a few weeks to show noticeable effects, especially those focused on long-term health like immune support or cognitive function. If you’re unsure whether a product is working, consult with a healthcare provider for personalized guidance. What if I don’t like the product I ordered?
We offer a customer-friendly return policy. If you’re not satisfied with your product for any reason, you can contact customer support within a specific time frame (usually 30 days) for a refund or exchange.
How do Stacks work?

Ordering
How long does it take from the time I order to get my supplements?
Your supplements are packed and shipped to you within 1-3 business days of your order being placed. Expedited orders placed on a business day by noon EST will be shipped the same day. If your expedited order is placed after noon EST, it will be processed and shipped the very next business day. On average, standard shipping time takes 3-7 business days to the continental US.
What about shipping times to Canada?
Shipping to Canada usually takes 10 business days and in some extenuating circumstances, can take up to a month. This is due to a recently initiated regulation by the Canadian government under Health Canada that requires additional labeling information, causing many products to get held at customs.
If you require regular supplements, we recommend placing bulk orders to avoid the delays in delivery.

What if some of the items I ordered are temporarily out of stock?
If a product from your order, including auto-ship orders, is out of stock, we will ship the order via the same shipping method as soon as we receive it. Any remaining products from your order that are in stock will be shipped per our normal shipping process (Stacks will not ship until all items are in stock.)
Tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as the order ships.
Will I be notified if a product I want to purchase is on backorder?
The product page will usually inform you if the product is on backorder. In most cases, you can still place an order and it will ship as soon as it is restocked. If a product from your order or subscription order is out of stock and we do not anticipate receiving it in the next 2 weeks, our customer service team will notify you by email so you can choose to leave it on backorder or cancel it and receive a refund. Any remaining products from your order that are in stock will be shipped per our normal shipping process. (Stacks will not ship until all items are in stock.)
What do I do if the supplements arrive and something is damaged?
While it is our goal to have all of your supplements arrive on time and in pristine condition, we understand that accidents do occasionally happen. If your order should arrive damaged please submit an email to our Customer Service Team at [email protected] and provide a photo of the damaged product so we can get you a replacement. If needed, we will make arrangements for your damaged product(s) to be returned to us and a new order will be sent to you immediately at no additional cost to you.
How do subscriptions work?
Subscriptions allow you to select a supplement or combination of supplements to be purchased at a 5% discount on a recurring schedule. You can pause, skip or cancel your subscription at any time. To start a subscription, click “Subscribe & Save” on the product page, choose your shipment interval, add to cart and then checkout as usual.
Will I get free shipping on subscriptions?
When you sign up for a subscription, you will receive Free FedEx standard shipping on both your initial shipment and recurring auto-shipments, as long as your orders maintain a qualifying total of at least $100.00 for orders shipped in the U.S. and a total of $250.00 for orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska & Canada. If you have multiple items set to different shipping intervals, recurring orders will split and shipping fees may apply if the order totals are below the free shipping thresholds.
How will I be billed for subscriptions?
Subscriptions are automatically processed on the card used for the initial subscription order. You can change the payment method at any time by logging into your account, clicking subscriptions, see more details and then edit payment method.
Why isn’t my credit card saved? Do I have to add it each time?
For security purposes, we do not store your credit card information so you will need to input your card number at checkout when placing one time orders. This does not apply to subscriptions.
What is the advantage of selecting “auto-ship”?
For starters, you will receive a 5% discount on your order!
You will also be assured your important supplements will arrive at your door automatically when you need them without having to remember to call or go online to reorder. You can customize the service to deliver different supplements (or supplement kits) at different intervals. You can start and stop your shipments at any time. You can arrange for your supplements to be shipped to different addresses if you spend time on long vacations or have summer/winter homes. You can easily set up auto-ship orders in your “My Account” page.
When you sign up for auto-ship service, you will receive FREE FedEx standard shipping on both your initial shipment and your subsequent auto-shipments, as long as your orders maintain a qualifying total of $100.00 and over for orders shipped in the US and a total of $250.00 for orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska & Canada.
What if I forgot something in my order? Can I amend my order once it’s placed?
Unfortunately items cannot be added to an order once it is placed due to the expediency of the dispatch to our fulfillment center. However you can always place a second order for items missed and if your original order met the free shipping threshold, we will waive your shipping fee for the follow-on order.
What if I ordered to the wrong address – can I change my shipping address after I’ve ordered?
Our goal is to process and deliver your order as efficiently as possible. To maintain the integrity of our shipping process and ensure timely delivery, we regret to inform you that we are unable to accommodate requests to change the shipping address once an order has been placed. This is because orders are processed immediately upon placement to ensure prompt fulfillment and dispatch. This means that changes to the shipping address cannot be made once the order is confirmed.
We ask all customers to carefully review their shipping information before finalizing their order to avoid any issues.
Can I cancel my order after ordering?
Once the order has entered the shipping process, cancellations are typically no longer possible. However, our customer service team can try to intervene if the order has not yet been dispatched, so please contact us ASAP at 1-888-702-2995 and we will try to amend your order before it ships. We strive to ship orders same day when possible, so we cannot guarantee any changes to your order once it is placed.
I am not very tech savvy. Can you order my supplements for me?

What is Prop 65?
The State of California regulations require that California purchasers receive pre-purchase notice for online purchases of products affected by Prop 65 (in addition to the Prop 65 notice statement on the product label itself).
A Prop 65 notice statement is required when a product contains any one of over 900 different substances above the “safe harbor” level set by the State of California, which is significantly lower than the amount shown to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm. Given the breadth of Prop 65, you will see the Prop 65 notice language for many different products. For dietary supplements, you will most often see a Prop 65 notice statement for herbs and other plant-based products, which even when grown organically may contain trace levels of lead and other naturally occurring metals above a California safe harbor level. For comparison, the Prop 65 safe harbor level for lead is 0.5 mcg per day, the EPA’s safe limit for lead in drinking water is 15 mcg/L per day, and 1 oz. of dark chocolate can contain about 0.6 mcg of lead.
Can I return my order?

How long do refunds typically take?
Refunds on Dr. Hyman’s supplement store typically take 15 business days to process once the returned product has been received and inspected. The timing may vary slightly depending on your payment method and financial institution. Can I return my order if it was purchased by a third-party but I used your website?
The DrHyman Store does not allow for returns from third party shippers once an order has been reshipped.
If you would like to return a product to that brand directly, please see individual product disclaimers on the respective product page to get more details about the refund policy of the product you order. Some individual products may have a separate refund policy so you will need to review that company’s return policy for more information.

What happens if a refrigerated item arrives warm or room temperature?
We use a mylar bag and ice packs to keep heat sensitive products cool during transit, but products are not intended to arrive cold. In general, heat sensitive products will only experience degradation when exposed to temperatures over 140 degrees for extended periods of time. What are the shipping and handling fees?
We ship with FedEx & USPS. Both carriers allow you to track your shipments while in transit. We recommend you view and track this information to prepare for delivery.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free FedEx standard ground shipping for orders over $100.00 USD shipping in the continental US. A notification on your check-out will remind you when you are near that threshold and will suggest additional products to help you reach that free shipping amount and save you money.
Do you offer expedited shipping options?
Yes, we offer FedEx 2-Day and FedEx Overnight delivery. To receive in-stock products within 2 business days, all orders must be placed by noon EST. Please note that 2-Day delivery is 2-business days. Orders in by noon EST on Thursday may be delivered the following Monday. Friday orders may be delivered on Tuesday. Deliveries outside of the contiguous 48-states can not be guaranteed in 2-days.
To receive in-stock products by the next business day, all orders must be placed by noon EST. Please note that Express Overnight Delivery usually does not include weekends. Friday orders placed by noon may be delivered on Monday. Express Overnight Delivery is only available in the contiguous 48-states.
Do you ship to Canada or other countries outside of the United States?
Yes, we do ship to Canadian addresses. We also ship to U.S. Territories like Puerto Rico and Guam. At this time, we do not ship to any other foreign countries besides Canada. We can accept credit cards with foreign billing addresses but only deliver supplements to U.S. and Canadian addresses.
We do offer Free Standard Ground shipping with a total of $250.00 for orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska & Canada.

Can I choose my shipping method?
All orders that qualify for free shipping are sent FedEx standard ground unless you are shipping to a P.O. Box. In that case, it will be sent USPS standard ground. If your order is below the free shipping threshold of $100 you may choose between FedEx and USPS Ground or one of the FedEx expedited options.
Do I have to sign for my delivery?
No, you do not need to be home at the time of delivery, but we do recommend signing up for text and email alerts with the mail carrier once it ships. This way, you can retrieve your package as soon as it is delivered to prevent your package from theft or sitting outside for extended periods of time.
Which days of the week do mail carriers deliver?
FedEx and USPS usually deliver on business days, Monday-Friday. Sometimes they will deliver on the weekend but it is not guaranteed.

In Functional Medicine, we truly believe in personalized medicine and that the best way to treat the individual is to collect and look at historical health information which requires the care of a skilled practitioner.
For that reason, it's impossible for us to answer medical questions over email and you deserve care that's going to get you what you need to improve your health.

Is Dr. Hyman accepting new patients or consults?
