You don’t need alcohol or a lot of added sugar to make a drink feel special. This recipe combines juicy blackberries with fresh lime, mint, and sparkling water for a bright, fizzy drink that comes together in minutes. Serve it over plenty of ice at your next happy hour or anytime you want something refreshing.
Blackberry and Mint Refresher
Ingredients
- 1½ cups fresh blackberries, chopped
- ½ cup fresh lime juice
- 12 large fresh mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon monk fruit sweetener (optional)
- Sparkling water, for serving
Step 1
Divide the chopped berries among four glasses. Add 2 tablespoons lime juice to each glass along with two or three roughly torn mint leaves. Using a cocktail muddler or a mortar and pestle, pound the berries and the mint until they release all their juices. Add sweetener if desired.
Step 2
Fill each glass with ice and top with sparkling water. Garnish with extra mint, stir, and enjoy.
