Ingredients
- ¼ cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 3 large basil leaves
- ½ lime, quartered
- 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
- 1 tablespoon 100% ginger juice
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
- ½ cup kombucha (low-sugar variety if possible)
- 1 cup of ice
- Splash of sparkling water (about ½ cup)
- Star anise (optional garnish)
Method
Step 1
In a large mason jar or cocktail shaker, add the cranberries, basil, lime, thyme, ginger juice, and cinnamon stick (if using). Use a muddler or fork to press the juices from the cranberries and limes and release flavor from the herbs.
Step 2
Add the kombucha, along with half of the ice and the star anise (if using). Close the lid and shake or stir to combine.
Step 3
In a large glass, add the remaining ice and pour in the shaken Moscow Mule mixture, including the lime, herbs, and spices.
Step 4
Finish with the sparkling water and enjoy!

Dialing in our fluid-to-electrolyte ratio is crucial for sleep, energy, performance, and so many biological functions—but typical electrolyte drinks aren’t designed for the challenges of cold, dry weather. That’s why I’m really enjoying staying warm with
LMNT this winter. Their new LMNT Chocolate Medley packs are designed to be enjoyed hot, combining their science-backed electrolyte formula with the cozy flavors of Chocolate Mint, Chocolate Chai, and Chocolate Raspberry. They’re made without sugar and other dodgy ingredients, can really help counter the fluid loss from dry air and perspiring under heavy layers, and are only available for a limited time.
